Frame it!

I want to share with all of you a project I did in the last three days.  I had bought this blank frame a very long time ago.  Finally I decided to craft the frame for my daughter.  She picked out the paper from my stash.  Her room is pink and powder blue with flowers.   I had the perfect color flowers and needed to put something in the corner.  I used Mod Podge and coated the frame with it.  Then I laid the paper on it and coated the top of the paper.  I didn't even think about taking a picture of before I started but here is after I put the paper on.
Can you see up there in the right corner that I had to cut it and it left a open spot so that is why I had to put something there.  The flowers where perfect.  I also added crystal sprinkles to the flowers.  I don't know if you can really see them.
So to finish it off we found the perfect sheer glittery ribbon.  Made a bow and then my daughter decided she wanted the word Memories in the bling.  So here is the finished product and my daughter loves it.

Happy Birthday Amanda

Hey everyone - I hope your weekend is going to be as great as mine.  First I got my SU order in and can't wait to start playing with it.  My Bestest and I are headed off to JoJo's in the morning to get a few supplies and use our coupons before they go bad.  So stay tuned everyone and see what we come up with.

I made my other best girlfriend's daughter her birthday card.  I am ahead of schedule I can't believe it.  Her birthday is in 4 days so if I get this out in todays mail everything should be right on time.  Keep your fingers crossed.

In one of my last Addicted orders I purchased this cute little mouse on his cheese.  I had been eying this for some time.  You should see my wish list there.  Ohhhh I started day dreaming .. sorry.  Ok my little stamp is called The Big Cheese and of course it's from Whipper Snapper.  I decided to go with the sketch from the Crafty Calendar Challenge #11 - August Sketch.   I really liked the boarder and ribbon at the top, it called to me.
The YNS Chanllenge #23 asked to use Bold, Bright, Summery colors & A Crafty Little Place Challenge #52 had great bold, bright, summer colors.  The colors for their challenge was PINK - BLUE - GREEN.
As for that boarder punch I used my Martha Steward punch of stars.  I think it is the first time I used it.  It will work perfect for the Prairie Fairy Designs Challenge #33.  Their theme this week is Punch it and I sure did.  Added the ribbon and the flowers.  I had them in the exact colors as the theme.  Fab N Funky Challenges #36 theme this week is Flower Power which is just perfect for my card and so is this weeks challenge over at Charisma Chardz Challenge #33 which is Die Cuts.  I just bought Spellbinders dies called Lables Two.  It worked perfect when I cut out my image.  I also used my hole punch and punched out the swiss cheese holes and popped him up.  I colored him and the cheese with my copics.  I am still practicing and learning to blend with them.  It's not as easy as it looks.  Last but not least to finish the inside of my card I used a new Sizzix die from a set -  Decorative Label Set #4.

Ok now for the finished product.  I know your thinking.. hello.. get to the card.. ok..ok.. I just wanted to make sure I explained everything.

Here's the inside.  I didn't center it so that I would have room to write a bit to her.

The crab says Thanks!

I am back!!!!   I have no idea why but for the last month or so I just could not pick up a stamp.  Well I'd pick them up but just had no desire to create anything.  WHY????  I have never hit a brick wall this long but since Halloween is coming and then the holidays maybe that is why I might be rejuvenated.

My daughter went and spent a week with her sister up in Seattle so I have a few Thank You cards that she needs to send out.  I used two that I had already made and posted but I made a special one for her sister.  It felt good to complete it and I have already started on my next card.  I really think I'm back.  REALLY!

I also got caught up on all my blogs I follow and all my challenges I have always loved to enter.
As I was catching up I found the Crafty Ho's Challenge #66  Sketch
If you are still here seeing this then you have not given up on me and Thank you for that.  Have faith that I will be posting more.
